The Clinical Sales Representative is responsible for combining clinical expertise with a strong commercial mindset to develop Masimo's presence across hospitals and private healthcare institutions within the assigned territory. The role builds trusted relationships with clinicians and key decision-makers, identifies business opportunities, and supports customers throughout the sales cycle through product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, implementation and ongoing education.

This position reports to the Country Manager, is part of the Sales Team in Italy and will work remotely to cover Emilia-Romagna and Marche.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and manage relationships with hospitals, private clinics, clinicians, key opinion leaders and other healthcare stakeholders across the assigned territory.
  • Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities for Masimo's patient monitoring technologies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including account qualification, product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, negotiations, closing and post-sale follow-up.
  • Provide clinical expertise and support for Masimo products, particularly in critical care environments such as Anesthesia, ICU, NICU/PICU and Emergency Care.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, customer training and educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
  • Develop strategic account plans and coordinate internal resources to support customer conversions and implementation.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast, monitor market and competitor activity, and represent Masimo at congresses and relevant clinical or commercial events.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Medical Technology or another relevant medical/clinical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience in medical devices, clinical support, clinical sales or healthcare sales.
  • Experience working in hospital environments and with patient monitoring technologies; experience within critical care environments such as ICU, OR, NICU/PICU or Emergency Care is preferred.
  • Fluent Italian and good command of English.
  • Experience delivering product demonstrations, clinical training or presentations to healthcare professionals.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Patient monitoring, pulse oximetry or other critical care technologies.
  • Working with key opinion leaders, clinical bodies, research institutions, OEM partners or distributors.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, with overnight stays as required, within the assigned territory.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Base salary and level of employment This role is classified under the applicable CCNL, which defines minimum terms, job classification, and baseline progression frameworks. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is €45,000 - €63,000, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role-related competencies.

This job is also eligible for incentive pay. The target earnings are determined as a percentage of annual base salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
